These terms (the "Terms") govern your use of the Stud Finder — Wall Wood Detector mobile application for iOS and Android (the "App") and the website at thestudfinder.app (the "Site"), provided by Appcellent Yazılım Hizmetleri A.Ş. ("Appcellent", "we", "us"). The App is free to download and offers optional paid subscriptions, described in section 3. By installing or using the App or using the Site you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use them.

1. Not a substitute for professional tools

The App is a general-purpose utility that interprets readings from your phone's magnetometer. It is not a professional-grade stud finder, not a certified safety device, and not suitable for critical construction, electrical, or plumbing decisions.

Walls contain pipes, live electrical wiring, gas lines, ductwork, and other hazards that the App cannot reliably detect. Before drilling, cutting, or fastening into any wall, verify your findings using an appropriate professional tool and, where required, consult a licensed tradesperson. You assume all risk associated with acting on information provided by the App.

2. License

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the App on devices you own or control, and to view the Site. All intellectual property in the App and the Site remains ours or our licensors'.

3. Subscriptions and billing

The App is free to download. Some features are available only with an optional, auto-renewing subscription. The available plans, their prices and any free trial are shown in the App before you confirm a purchase; prices vary by country.

Billing. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. All payments are processed by Apple; we never see or handle your payment details.
Free trial. Where a free trial is offered, it converts automatically to a paid subscription at the end of the trial unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
Automatic renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the same price and for the same period unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within the 24 hours before the current period ends.
Managing and cancelling. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions on your iPhone or iPad. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Deleting the App does not cancel a subscription.
Refunds. Refunds are handled by Apple under its own policies; you can request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. We cannot issue refunds for purchases made through the App Store.
Google Play. If you subscribe in the Android version of the App, the purchase is billed to your Google Play account and renewals, cancellation (in the Play Store under Payments & subscriptions) and refunds are governed by Google Play's terms and policies.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the App, except to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Resell, sublicense, or distribute the App.
Use the App or Site to violate any law or infringe any right of a third party.
Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the App, Site, or any connected service.

5. App Store terms

The App is distributed through Apple's App Store. Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies to your use of the App. If there is a conflict between these Terms and Apple's EULA, Apple's EULA governs only to the extent necessary to resolve that conflict.

6. Disclaimer of warranties

The App and the Site are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App or Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from harmful components.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Appcellent and its suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenues, data, or goodwill arising out of or in connection with your use of the App or the Site, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claim relating to the App or the Site will not exceed the amount you paid for the App and any subscription in the twelve months preceding the claim.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Appcellent harmless from any claim or demand, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the App or the Site.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by a new "Last updated" date at the top of the page. Continued use of the App or Site after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Turkey, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence continue to apply.
